Lauren

A 5th generation San Franciscan, Lauren holds the unique distinction of standing by and understudying the widest known array of Broadway icons, including Tony winners Sutton Foster, Beth Leavel and Karen Ziemba; the legendary soprano Rebecca Luker, powerhouse Eden Espinosa, and currently the sublime Caissie Levy.

Lauren returned to broadway this fall to cover the role of Mother in Lincoln Center Theater's Revival of RAGTIME, marking her 4th Broadway Musical.  She briefly stepped into the role of Marian Paroo opposite Hugh Jackman in the revival of The Music Man, which lead Blackman to join Jackman in his 2025 residency at Radio City Music Hall, where she guest soloed singing 'Never Enough'. Other broadway credits include Lempicka and originating the role of the Tsarina in Ahren's and Flaherty's Anastasia.   

Lauren toured the country as Irene Molloy with the 50th Anniversary Tour of Hello Dolly! starring Sally Struthers, and enjoyed the highlight of the holiday season as Mrs. Claus in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.  Lauren has played numerous leading ladies at cherished regional theaters across the country, but her favorite role is that of Aunt Yaya.  

On television her work can be seen on Great Performances 50th Anniversay Concert on PBS, and Ratu Ratu in Queens, on Netflix.  Listen to Lauren on the original cast albums of Anastasia, Lempicka and Next Thing You Know - where Lauren originated the role of Lisa. She resides in NYC with her partner, poodle and doodle, Cherry and Miss Banks.
